Queen of Hungary's Water - Herbal Skin Toner
Facial toner for all skin types.
History:
Legend has it that the Queen of Hungary's Water toner was first concocted for Queen Elisabeth of Hungary in the 14th century. The origins are varied, and different sources range from claims of a monk creating the blend, to traveling Roma folk, or a court alchemist. Seeking a potion to restore her youth and beauty, the queen was gifted this revitalizing elixir. Its miraculous effects were said to have captured the attention of the King of Poland, who proposed marriage to the queen after witnessing her renewed radiance. Thus, the Queen of Hungary's Water became renowned as the first recorded perfume, inspiring countless variations throughout the centuries.
